Is there something wrong with my CPU contacts?

I don't know how to check if my CPU is broken or not because the dual channel doesn't work after my PSU swap(with reapplication of thermal paste on my CPU). Is there something wrong my CPU or it is just the RAM slot gone bad?

No. Share your system details, if you want help. Culprit is most likely your motherboard.

The contacts look fine. Have you checked the socket itself for damaged pins? Usually, if there's a problem, it's that rather than the CPU itself.

My potato PC specs:

i5 6400

GTX 1050 Ti

860 EVO 500GB

Corsair CV450

G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x 8GB 3200 MHz(overkill but I was my first upgrade and im upgrading one by one)

A new problem has occur after I reseated(?) the CPU. only one pair of stick works when it both of it worked together before the PSU. It seems other pair is dead.
