Samsung laptop powers on but don't have hdd light sometimes

I have an old Samsung laptop model no.: NP365E5C-S04US and I had upgraded to windows 10. It was working fine until I decided to find AMD smbus driver for it (it loaded the default microsoft thing). I installed driver easy software and searched for updates and got many drivers were out of date. I made a restore point and installed only the AMD SMbus driver and then reboot. To my horror it rebooted to a blank screen.

Now when I press power button the power led comes on everytime but my hdd activity light comes on sometimes (completely randomly) and sometimes don't. Whenever the hdd light comes on Windows boot up normally but when it doesn't then I see blank screen and not even BIOS screen. Also now the touchpad sometimes freeze and windows explorer act weird.

My dvd drive seem to spin everytime.

Please tell me what could be the problem. And can I fix this at home?
