blak friday sale!

marcuzx

so what are all the things that’ll go on sale and by how much? doing a completely new setup this year. need 12900k 128gb pc, monitor, chair, desk, everything. controllers and all

will games be on sale too? i literally wanna spend around 4k. what are some good deals? in serious need of a chair, 63+ inch desk, monitor. my pc will be overkill but the chair and desk don’t have to. been waiting over a decade for this moment and i finally have the money to upgrade everything. im really excited for this even tho i’ll probably never need more than 32gb of ram and more than 8 cores. complete waste of money. i’ll be livestreaming and video editing daily so i guess it’ll be worth it. i don’t have the mic or cam tho, i only livestream gameplay. maybe i should get that next or maybe not. if you’re watching cod, that’s all you need. talking is just distractive and i get views without even talking. i also record mobile gameplay of various games so i’ll need a note22 soon. i really enjoy what i’m doing. i love lifting weights and playing video games all day long. what are some things that i should buy?

K cpu is a joke unlesss you overclock and like most ppl im gonna assume you dont overclock cause ocing cpus is just dead, not much to be gained from these newer platforms, just oc gpu and ram instead

128gb is only usefull if you are a scientist or something where you need that much ram for simulations and sht, 32gb ram is more than enough for most ppl, and in terms of ram choice go for 3200mhz cl16 or 360hz cl16, avoid vengeance rgb pro, dominator rgb, tridentz rgb, and tridentz neo rams as they are really overpriced esp the neo and the neo is an overclocking ram so its useless anyways unless you intend to overclock your rams

Note 22 isnt even out yet, same goes for the 12900 so well have to see if they are any good once they release

Not a peripherals guy so i cant really help you with peripherals

And im pretty sure black friday is still a few months from now so youll still have to wait a few months, maybe just remake this thread 1 month before black friday then we might be able to give some useful reccomendations

It's impossible to say what goes on sale. But typically bundles, peripherals and such. And there's no way of knowing what stores do what brands and so on. The good thing is that Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become week or two long sales event. So you have time to check what's available and how they fit to your needs.

For example, I bought laptop last year. I had looked beforehand what specs I need and what price range I'm looking for. As some deals are only for small quantities, if you hesitate, you might be left out.

Typically, hardware itself doesn't go on sale. Or at least, not by any steep discount. Some bundles may appear, but those are often time crap. Like good GPU, paired with a craptier PSU in a bundle.

What does go on sale, is peripherals. So if you're planning to buy a keyboard, mouse, headset, monitor, whatever else... Those do usually go on sale at a reasonable price. I would suggest installing the extension "Keepa", to know if a price is actually cheap or one of those fake discount where they raise the price just before, in order to advertise a "cheap deal" when it's not. At least, if you're planning to shop or Amazon.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

Dont buy 128gb pc,it wont make your PC or increase you penis size if you are wanting to brag about it.

Go with 32 or 64gb at max,no need for more, like even with editing, livestreaming, and watching 20 tabs of porn in Chrome in same time wont even use anything  close to 128gb.

Invest in your chair, you will be sitting a lot of hours in there and you want comfy, back supporting chair.

That money  that you would save from buying 32 or 64gb instead of 128gb,can be used to make nicer overall enviroment where you will be.

Like buying cable ties, and canals for you wires to be clean and your desk to look better.

One of those mounting wall shelf with holes for cables and rest of your shit.

Buy a plant, and nice lamp since it help fucking a lot.

Making your place nicer and cleaner will help you feeling happier and increase your productivity.

Those things arent expensive(ikea has those items),and the money that is left you can use to pay for softwares that you will be using for editing.

Desk check amazon,or just ikea, you can build one for pretty cheap(dont buy those ''gaming table for pros with extra cup holder'').

And keep in mind,if you are just starting to stream and edit, you need to realize there is a big chance that you will not make it to be a big name, and be a gazillioner,so try not to blow your whole money into it.In my area sites like craiglist and facebook market place are full of those streaming/editing setup that people buy for 3-5k euros and after they see its not making them money they try to sell it so they go out of debt.

But yea black friday deal arent that much, mostly motherboard, some sales on ram, psu. But big sales on monitors and MnK's.

make a list so when the discounts start so you buy in right away.

Cyber Monday is Black Friday. Just on Monday instead of Friday. Or it used to be. Used to be, Thanksgiving Thursday, Black Friday, weekend, Cyber Monday. Now it's all lumped into a sale that is a week long or so and not as big of a sale as people think it is.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

so it’s basically how bodybuilding marks up their prices and says its 30% off but in reality its the same price as it was a month ago when it was 10% off?

Not necessarily. Depends on your region. It's more for tech (obviously), but also like a last day of the whole event.

You also might just check out if Singles Day is a thing in your region (11.11.).

yes, many retailers bump their price 1-2 weeks before blackfriday/cyber monday and they it lower it to normal price and call it a sale.So month before the sales hit, watch the prices on the sites or shop where you intend to buy and you will see are they tricking you or not.
