Razer Blade 14: 97C Average Temp ok?

Obumbrata
Go to solution Solved by CommanderAlex,

Temps are to be expected due to the form factor and amount of heat these high performance components will put out. You can always try a laptop cooling pad to improve airflow if there is ventilation underneath the laptop (holes or grille underneath).

Perhaps you can limit FPS by using V-sync so that the CPU and GPU are not running at their max frequencies and to reduce heat.

I have been using the new Razer Blade 14 (AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, NVIDIA 3070) for a couple of weeks and love it. When playing FPS games it goes up to 95 Celsius... gaming sessions usually run from 2 to 4 hours daily. I am assuming this is normal but since there are many of you experts in these forums wanted to ask for your opinion. Is it ok/normal as long as it doesn't hit 100 C or above? Anything you guys do to play on your laptops to cool it down a bit (any specifics solution/amazon link appreciate if you found something that works).

Appreciate the expertise guys.
