If you need a mic on your headphones and they need to be wireless. The cloud 2 wireless are going to be much better.

I actually bought and returned 2 pairs a cloud II wireless. Both had a static/white noise in the background and one I had problems with the mic. Any other suggestions?

I've heard that the cloud flight S has the same issues, are all Corsair headsets bad? Should I really be looking at wired headsets? Wires are just kinda annoying for me, easy to get tangled in

They really aren't annoying. It definitely depends on the cable and your habits. A cheap really good headset that has studio sound are the MH752's from Cooler Master. Those are one of the best even up headphones priced from 150 to 200 dollars I'd say. Lightweight, great sound for the price, the mic is really good for a headset mic, really good build quality etc. Just a solid pair of headphones. Wired is superior in terms of sound, reliability etc. Wireless gaming headsets just aren't comparable.

I there a more premium headset you would recommend around $150?

There is no such thing really as premium in the gaming headset world. You want to look at the right ones. Not just because they are more expensive. The MH752's are reskinned studio headphones but with a mic. You won't get much better sound or build quality around 100-150$. Then you have to move up to maybe 500-1000$ headphones.

Thanks for the help man, I'm gonna try one of the Corsair headsets because I've used their products before and like them but if they end up being shit I'll try the MH752 🙂
