PSA reconsider buying ASUS EKWB pre waterblocked cards

So my PVC soft tubes to let plasticizer loose in my loop, leaving it looking like this.

Its of course my fault the block looks bad cant fault asus or ek there.

 

I take the block off the gpu and start undoing the acrylic screws so i can get to the actual copper block and jet plate to polish and clean. HOWEVER after unscrewing every screw it would not budge. I look online and come across this

The ASUS metal cover prevents me from getting to the bottom screws...

 

I cant f**king undo the block because of this stupid asus lightbar the they GLUED on to this acrylic....

 

If you have any interest in cleaning your gpu block avoid these gpus. Unless youre handy enought to get it off without breaking it.

use heatgun to loosen them glue
