Is it possible to change the fans that come with CPU cooler?

Filingo

I am planning to buy the Peerless Assassin 120:

https://www.amazon.com/Thermalright-Peerless-Assassin-Aluminium-Technology/dp/B08XM557HS/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=peerless%2Bassassin%2B120&qid=1632243554&s=specialty-aps&sr=1-1&th=1

And some say it's loud, and I have a few $$ to spend for free shipping (up to 75$ including the cooler itself)

So in the gap I have left I thought I'd buy some replacement PWM fans just in case the Peerless Assassin 120 is really as loud as they say.

these are the dimensions of the fans it comes with: http://www.thermalright.com/product/tl-c12/

Is it possible to install there a replacement and quieter PWM fans? If yes what is your recommendation?

They are standard 120mm fans so yes you can replace them but is it not better to get cooler with better fans instead of buying this cooler and fans separately? For that price you could get something really decent and no hassle with swapping fans

Haha they're Chinese, they always have typos in these sort of things

In the fan's spec page it shows 120x120 so I believe the 157 refers to the radiator size and they mixed it

well you're right I might just get the more expensive Noctua 😄

It's just that I have a black case with tempered glass and the components inside are black and white and it looks good with this white peerless assassin

Yes, it's one of the more stupid things I am thinking about

By the way: The reviews on Youtube shows this PA120 is better than 240mm AIO! So that's crazy for the price

I have FC140 and am running a single NF-A14 iPPC 3K, I was running a big and little setup but bailed on that idea. The fans that came with my cooler are now case fans 🙂

If you really wanted White, and didn't mind paying more, there are always quite a few white AIOs.

This fan is crazy, didn't know they make industrial fans.. What? I saw it's 3000 rpm so it can also get very loud - buy I assume that it should never get close to it on normal use? And that's exactly what I was thinking about - converting the PA120 to case fans!

I just don't like the idea of liquids inside my computer, otherwise I'd go for it, and, check this review, it's in Chinese with English subtitles, it shows that the PA120 is slightly better than 240mm aio! That's actually a nice review:

looks good, but right now it's over 75$, I can't get over 75$ not even by cent because of Import fee deposit which is a lot once it passes 75$

Noctua should really make black or white components, that would be crazy. This Noctua is massive!
