Every time I i plug in the 6 pin into the card my pc screams at with 3 long beeps and 3 short beeps and has no display. I tried the graphics in a friend's pc and it displays and seem to have no trouble with it. I putted he card in my pc ( he has an RX 540 SAPPHIRE) it works on my pc and displays

Search on your motherboards manufacturer site to see what that code means.

I have seen on post that u have to go in ur bios and change something to make a later gen card work on a newer gen motherboard. Here is what my motherboard's bios looks like

Pcie 3 are backward compatible so you shouldn’t have a issue over there, I would look for problem somewhere else.

What’s your mobo manufacturer and model number? This beep codes may give you some clue what’s the issue but in order to find it out we need to know what mobo you have.
