Looking for cheap yet safe PSU suggestions for AM3 Athlon II x4 635 + r7 250 system

DCCFan

Basically this is my personal PC which was an office computer I upgraded to quad core and added a small GPU to it. I have a Seasonic G-series in it right now (just because I already owned it), but now I plan to use the G-series on my daughter's upcoming Ryzen build so I will need a cheaper PSU to put on my PC. Obviously, I'm not looking to spend a lot given its specs LoL

I saw the following PSU's for very cheap near me... but are these safe to use?

Corsair CV Series CV450 450W

Gigabyte Technology GP-P450B 450W

Gamemax Vp-450 450w 80 Plus Bronze

Redragon RPGS GC-PS001 500W

Please feel free to suggest more 🙂

Id go corsair.

Gigabyte has.... bad history with psus

Redragon seems to be a periferal brand first (I didnt even know thay they made psus until now), and if the psu is equle quality to the perferials, no

And out of the 2 left, Corsair is the best known company

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

both of these will do, gigabyte just has a bad rep from the P-GM fiasco.

I heard about that, GamersNexus made one explode by testing it 😆.  I'm sure it's not their whole lineup bu I can see why someone people would rather stay away LoL

corsair has had some bad batches before, it's just that gigabyte acted poorly and had to be coerced into recalling it by reviewers while corsair takes responsibility and does it once they notice.

That's good on Corsair. Seems like they deserve their great reputation 🙂

Thanks! I am looking in https://www.mercadolibre.com.ar/ right now. Have not seen the CX line under 600W. Seems like most of the low wattage PSU's are CV for some reason. Yeah these are all pretty meh but for the system I have they should do haha Let me know if you find a better option though. I'm taking my time, will probably get it by xmas though 😃
