Galaxy note 20 vs S21

Sub2pewdiepie

I have been looking to upgrade my phone for a little while now (currently using the s10e) I am a college freshman and am looking for one that will last me hopefully through college

I have likes and dislikes about both phones and am wondering what way i should go

I am using us cellular and through us cellular i can get the s21 for 500 dollars

Through samsung's certified renewed program I can get the note 20 for 500 as well

I like the size of the note 20 as well as the size of the battery however i am worried about the longevity of the device considering the phone is going to be on the last generations update cycle

I like on the s21 that the screen is 120 hz however i have heard that battery life is terrible while using the 120 hz

Other than that the phones are basically the same if anybody could please point me in a direction

I wouldn't consider that a disadvantage since if it really bothers you, you can always switch back to 60hz from the settings.

Take a strong look at the S20 FE. It's got more options than the S21 (microSD card slot, etc), bigger battery, better battery life. I've been pretty impressed with mine. If you need an SPen, save up and get the Note20 Ultra. 120hz really doesn't affect the battery that much, and I wouldn't get a phone with a lower refresh rate.
