These are only 250MP tho 😛

Not sure if they were updated, but at least they are currently the 500MP shown in the video (35913x14873):

As you can see, a total of 534,134,049 pixels

Yep it was updated 25 mins ago, when I posted they were both from sept. 9th

1.5GB of RAM needed just to view it 😄

I've made a bunch of 200MP pics myself, mostly 360° drone aerials. But the drone automates taking the photos just as needed so it's < 30 photos aligned just right. ICE stitches that in seconds.

I like to do this whilst on vacation. I used the 2x optical zoom on my iPhone 8 Plus when we were in the US last to make some massive panoramas of places such as the Grand Canyon and Death Valley. I took about 30 pictures and stitched them together in Photoshop.

The Samyang 135mm f/2 would be a great lens for this. Super sharp and fast but still cheap full-frame lens.

Other lenses that do it better are expensive...

I've also had good success stitching stuff with Affinity Photo, which is a lot cheaper than a year of a lightroom subscription and also has good content fill if you miss stuff.

Worse for regular raw photo editing, though.

It's not a review, it's a sponsored showcase so by definition not neutral.

Not to mention this was likely recorded/written before the deal was finalized.

Try wine 5.0 and download Irfanview

https://www.winehq.org/announce/5.0

https://www.irfanview.com/

However as mentioned above it consumes a butt ton of ram so if your Chrombook lacks ram that could be the sole cause.

Edit Also your chromebook can't be arm for wine.

I do have a desktop, but I was at school at the time. I was using my school issued chromebook.

And I have a "chromebook" with a modded bios and a copu of Xubuntu.

I could use some help with this!
