Rainbow six siege is caped at 60-80fps

ston219

Hey everyone,

I recently bought myself a Pc(pre build) with a Rtx 3070Ti and a Intel Core I911900F. Since I bought the PC Rainbow is only running at around 60-88 Fps on any settings. I got the same problem with the original modern warfare 2 (only multi-player) where the game is also caped at 60-80Fps. The single player runs at 600fps sometimes. Games like watchdogs Legion with dlss enabled on the highest setting WQHD Ultra run at 144Fps. Arma 3 does run at around 200fps base game.  So the Gpu itself should be fine. But I just don't know what to do about Rainbow as I play the game alot and the Fps is pretty annoying. And what's even weirder is that lowering the settings sometimes makes me lose FPS. I could really use some help with this has I have run out of options on how to fix such stuff.

Thank you all for your answers and sorry for my English I'm not a native speaker :)

Yours

So anyway did you adress the basic stuff?

- Vsync turned off

- game's refresh rate in display settings is set same as monitor

- lastly checking if there is fps cap outside game settings
