Backup Drive Turned Into NTFS + Showing up as "0 bytes free"...

Kind of alarmed right now since my backup drive has suddenly turned into "NTFS" and all its contents are showing up as "0 bytes" as well as the drive itself. 

 

The only thing I can think of that could've caused this, is me downloading the vpn Surfshark recently...
