Build for a RTX3070

Agorax

Trying to build a new PC around a RTX3070. I would like the PC to be performant and silent. Searched together these parts today and would appreciate your opinions on this build 🙂

Budget: ~1000€

Country: Austria

Workloads: Cyberpunk, Red Dead 2, ... on a 1440p Monitor, 144hz

Other details:

Listing them here, because i couldn't find everything on pcpartpicker.

Total price: 977,31€

Side notes:

Plan is to buy most of the hardware from cyberport.at, but because it's a german site I gathered english links for all the products to make this review easier.

I am aware, that I most likely need to upgrade the bios before it will accept my cpu. But with the "Flash Bios Button" this shouldn't be a problem.

I probably won't be able to look through the side window and just see the front most of the time. So no need for a lot of rgb inside.

My main questions for you:

  1. Is this a sensible build?
  2. Will my power supply be enough?
  3. Will my motherboard be able to support the case USB slots and so on?
  4. Anything I should double check or could have missed?
  5. Anywhere I can easily save money with little compromise?

I'm not sure if that case is good or not, Seems like it won't have good airflow.

PSU is good.

Everything else looks good also, But you'll need to add little better cooler. That cooler is gets loud pretty quickly too.

Depends on how you use the computer. Single monitor, not many background task, current and older games (minus cyberpunk), 6 cores will be fine. Multiple monitors, tons of background task, future AAA games, I think 8 cores would be safer bet. You can look into either the 10700f (more value option) with B460/B560 or 5800X (best 8 core right now) with B550. Same story for RAM 16GB for today and older games, 32GB if projecting into future.

Should be good there as well

I'd look for a nvme with dram. Mainly cause it will improve the overall experience of the computer: snappier and more responsive, games download faster, etc. Here are some options to look at:
