Never built a PC before and was looking into it recently.

Any thoughts on this build?

I have more storage in my current PC that I will put into this one.

Also not sure which GPU I will be able to get my hands on but hopefully will be able to get 3070 or 3080.

Is there anything in the build that I should spend a little more on or a little less on?

Will this perform well for everything I need it to?

You could go to a 10700f instead which is cheaper and not too much slower than the 11700.

The Samsung 980 is actually a budget NVME without dram. You can get a much better drive at around the same price:

Silicon Power P34A80

ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro

ADATA XPG GAMMIX S7

Mushkin Pilot-E

Looks like a good balanced build either way though!

I gave you room in the budget, so you can look at third party sellers for this or any other RTX 3060 gpu. Sadly, it's the market right now, and just go with a highly rated third party seller.

Alternatively, get a RX 6600XT. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jgMnYg

Eh its pretty much the generic first time builder choice

Rams are overpriced garbage, idk why ppl even buy this inferior corsair ram when crucial ballistix 3600mhz cl16 is at the same price

I do not suggest going intel, you are most likeley not overclocking so intel is no good, just go for a 5800x, good performance out of the box

A cheap 240mm aio gets obliterated by cheap dual towers like the fuma 2 or phantom

That drive for being dramless is overpriced trash, just go for a mushkin pilot e or kingston a2000 instead as those have dram cache

Case is overpriced, go for a p400a instead

Psu is a good unit atleast but its pricey and you dont need 1000w, 850w will do, and go for an msi mpg or revolution df since those are some good budget 850w units
