FPS problems in many games

Balint

Hello

My specs:

Ryezn 3 2200G 4c/4t 3,5ghz

Rx 570 8GB

2x8gb 3000mhz

A320m hdv r3.0

I have a lot of fps drops and BIG stutters in games, like Fortnite PUBG Valorant etc. (

Why is this possible? Maybe the 4/4 CPU is weak already?

If you have any ideas, please let me know

What FPS are you running when it not stuttering? It could one of many things

  • CPU not feeding the GPU enough
  • Your RAM not feeding the CPU enough
  • If you have a HDD and not a SSD, it could be not feeding your RAM fast enough

Its time to begin the trouble shooting and see what is the root cause!

Is there a common theme when the drops happen? Like a lot going on on the screen at one time? Or loading around a corner, etc.?

Sorry I probably edited my post. Refresh plz. Build Specs Below.

When i drag my mouse, i mean i turn right in the game, the game is freezing for 0,5/1sec. (sometimes)

Now i played fortnite, by the benchmark, i had 180 average fps, its pretty good, and yes, the 0,1% frames are like 7,1,0 fps etc.

I have only one ssd.

Would think you are using integrated graphics from the 2200G

but since you said you have "normal" FPS in up to 180, maybe driver issues or something.

Also if checking in BIOS that your RAM is running fine and monitor software ingame to check GPU or CPU performance?

MSI afterburner + rivatuner or other monitor software can be used.

hopefully it's not damaged hardware.

i set it up my rams to 2933 max, this is the max ram support of 2200g.

Im using rivatuner & afterburner, i locked my fps to 160.

What do you mean about damaged hardware? what could happened?

My system runs very well, only the games are big problem

Tbh 4c/4t on pubg is just asking for a bad time. Granted pubg is just bad in general when it comes to optimizations so I would expect shuddering in it with your setup. As for fortnite I am a but surprised you would get such issues as I had thought it was fairly well optimized.

But then what is the problem?

Install msi afterburner,  set up an overlay

Fps

Cpu usage all cores

Gpu usage

Ram usage

Then see whats happening when the stutters happen.

The thing is the cpu isn't great,  on the other hand its difficult to say what's exactly the issue without more info... and I think fortnite specifically is made to run on potato,  but here we are, so more info is needed.

I didn't see this... that's part of your issue,  you should be happy when most games run at 60 fps, you're probably just asking for too much from this hardware,  you arent going to have a good time.

(I had this cpu,  the thought of running above 60 with this thing makes my toe nails curl ...)
