I have a strange problem with my mouse

My mouse clicks are not working (both left and right) unless I middle click on that particular window or the application. Seems middle click activates the window or the application. Same for taskbar, have to bring up the taskbar and middle click on it for the mouse clicks to work. For some applications like bluestacks, the click is not working on the outer icons like close or maximise. The mouse only interacts with the inner area of the app

What's causing this problem? Is there any solution to make this normal?
