40-60USD Cooler for Ryzen 5 3600

EndofEra

Hey guys I wan to upgrade the cooler of my ryzen 5 3600 from the stock cooler, as the title suggests I have a budget of 40-60usd.

Based on the research that I have done scythe fuma 2 seems to be a great cooler choice but unfortunately it costs a lot here in my country (Philippines) it costs around 60-70USD.

AIOs and Air Coolers are all welcome suggestions. Thank you!

why do you want to buy a replacement? are there any temp problemes or you want to change the look?

the stock cooler just cant handle the my r5 that well especially during hot days here in the philippines. I have disabled cpb and pbo already but I am still maxing out to up to 80c while gaming only. I have tried to do remounts but temps dont really change that much

A cheap single tower like the se 224 xt or freezer 34 will work, if you do oc they might be abit weak but most ppl dont oc anyways so thats my reccomendation, they are around 25-30$

the freezer 34 costs around 50USD here, still thanks for the suggestion.

I dont really think its the case since I have a rakk haliya case (local case that has a mesh front panel), I also have 6 arctic p12 case fans 3 intakes and 3 exhausts.

Even on ebay?

Also you gave us budget in USD so we assumed to give recommendations of US products.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

The stock cooler does suck...

Have you tried undervolting? You can probably get away with at least -50mV, probably -100mV using offset. Or you can try a static OC at lower voltage. Both of my 3600s can do 4.2ghz all core at 1.2V, where the stock auto settings will do over well over 1.2V to achieve similar clocks while gaming.

I do plan on trying at some point but as of the moment I want to opt for a new cooler first since I think that it will be much less off a hassle for me, especially since I have never tried undervolting

Give yourself an hour or two to try it. If it works for you, you just saved yourself the money you would have spent on a cooler. You won't hurt anything by undervolting, if it crashes, just enter the bios and try again.

I understand wanting a new cooler though, I tested my system when I first got it and experienced similar temperatures. This was before I did any OC or voltage changes.

hey guys just want to thank you all who made cooler suggestions but I have decided to grab the scythe mugen 5 black edition since I saw it on sale for just ~50USD, which was cheaper than the arctic freezer 34 esports duo that came at ~55USD
