You can use the encoder on the 6700xt for streaming. I have streamed with a Gtx 770 and a ryzen 5 3600 with little to no issues when on the performance encoder preset in OBS. You should have no issues.

So streaming games like scarlet nexus for example at 60 fps 1440p won't be an issue? Btw I have an 5700xt not a 6700xt.

Should be fine 🙂
There rlly is no reason you can't stream with this. (I stream with gtx 770 from 2013 so your card is more than capable)

I dont think so, but you will probably notice a loss in performance in games as you have an AMD gpu, which does not have the ever so amazing NVEC encoder

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Your card does have a NVEC encoder, which is far better than amds hardware encoder.

You should experiment with both hardware encoding and h264/h265. I take it you are running OBS for streaming? See which delivers the best stream quality (after adjusting for bitrate and such)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I will have to try that after work to see what you really mean.

Doesn't twitch have a low max bitrate? Streaming most games at 1440p60 isn't viable on any encoder.

Is even a 770's encoder still better than a modern AMD? There were significant improvements for 1600/2000, and I think improvements before.

Yeah, as i understand most people do 1080p 30 or 60, even if they are playing at 1440p

some of the ryzen CPUs have some fun encoding or whatever streaming functionality.

Between GPUs, Nvidia is a better target with their NVEC.

Not sure if this video helps, can jump to 2:50 or 5:35 or to the end graphs. Also a bit older now, some has been updated etc.

That looks interesting, I will look into it.
