750w Enough for 5600x and RTX3060/3080?

Hey!

 

I'm about to build a new gaming pc, and i'm wondering what you guys recommend for my setup when it comes to PSU. I just bought a Corsair RM750X, 750W (Plus Gold). Is that enough?

 

This is going to be my specs:

1x 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor.

1x  2560x1440 144Hz Monitor.

1x Corsair iCUE 4000x RGB.

1x Corsair iCUE H100i Capellix. (2x120mm fans).

1x Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB.

1x Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5".

1x Kingston A2000 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD.

1x NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 (going to upgrade to 3080 later).

1x Gigabyte B550 Vision D.

2x 16GB Vengeance RGB PRO SL DDR4 3600Mhz.

1x AMD Ryzen 5 5600x.

1x Corsair RM750X, 750W (Plus Gold).

1x Cooler Master MK750(Gaming Keyboard).

1x Glorious Model O Gaming Mouse.

750w should be good. rm750x is a great psu, so it should be just fine.

Even for a 3080?

Nvidia recommends 750, but I’ve read on some other forums where people say it’s not enough

the 5600x has a tdp of 65w, while an rtx 3080 has 320w afaik. even if you leave 100w of headroom, you still have 265w to cover the rest of the system, which it definitely won't need. maybe on a very low end psu you might need to worry, but rm750x will be fine.

5600x is such a power sipper 750W is good enough. Even if you somehow trip the breaker, you can undervolt both CPU and GPU quite heavily.
