ASUS ROG PG278QR

AlexDesertDunes

Hello everyone !

Can my monitor an ASUS ROG pg278qr that is a 1440p 125mhz that can be overclocked to 165mhz via DP also do 1080p at 125mhz ?

Unfortunately the PS5 can’t do high refresh rate at 1440p ( currently) but it can at 1080p. Would my monitor be able

to do the 100+ MHz at 1080p if I set the game to performance mode?

Thank you

Are you talking about refresh rate? There's nothing like MHz speed on monitor.

They almost certainly meant 125hz and 165 hz. Honestly I read it that way and didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.

Given that refresh IS measured in MHz , I was indeed referring to that.

No, refresh rate is Hz, NOT MHz.

But anyway, just plug the PS5 into the HDMI port on the monitor. 1080p 120Hz is no problem.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
