Please complete this short questionnaire. It's about PCs and it's for my school seminar work. Thank you so much in advance.

Make sure to keep in mind you've got a monumental sampling bias asking people on a tech forum to comment on PC building.

indeed. I've bought totally different brands of GPU/CPU because quite frankly they were better as good as and cheaper than the main brands at the time. I'm sure if a new brand started making parts and it was superior in some way to the main brands I'd consider buying it.

so be careful that the results you'll get are not representative of the general population, if that's a non issue for you, or if it was already handled some other way, best of luck in your endeavors!!

I think that may be the point, but im not sure.

They want to know if people who have built PCs suggest building PCs.

And completed

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

I'm wondering how many of the Computer owning Population consider PCs to be disposable appliances?

I myself known Folks like this where will they have fixable problems with their cheap PC and buy another one...

One question was did you enjoy your first PC build experience? It was so long ago (over 20 years) I didn't remember. I remember the PC though. Best overclock I ever had (% wise).

Does completely tearing down pre-builts and rebuilding them from the ground up count as "building a PC"?
