You missed a major troll opportunity at around 0:30 when Linus said he was done, should have tossed in the outro there

What was the model for the standing desk legs? Wanted to know if it was sturdy as well?

Clearly no experience in moving stuff 😏

Flip the table 90 degrees, stick one set of legs into the door opening, then manoeuvrer the table such that the 2nd set of legs can pass the door too. Easier done than written 😛

They custom made it themselves. Not for sale.

Also it's a water loop reservoir.

In the first desk build video Linus says they got the legs from VIVO but doesnt give a model. But based on what I can see from VIVOs website and in the LTT video I think their are using model DESK-V103E

during the glass carrying part i was internally yelling at the screen: "Use f***ing gloves dammit!"

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

So you custom build an all glass table-top lit up with RGB... only to then cover it with a giant DOOR MAT?!?!?!

:old-unsure::old-unsure::old-unsure:

If it was me doing it I would have left ~12 more inches of plywood up front for the keyboard/mouse, tint the glass itself so that the RGB can show off better and do the actual assembly where it's being placed. Those legs could have gone on AFTER moving it, same with filling the loop.

The desk I am sitting at right now is approximately 34 inches deep. That's more than enough room to fit everything from speakers, full-size DAC, documents, multiple phone chargers and my big 72oz bubba keg. And rather than sit the monitor on the table top you attach a VERTICAL support to the back of the desk and mount your monitor to that. I've actually built my own custom TV stand exactly that way using nothing but 2x6 and maybe two dozen of those large hex head framing screws. It's basically a H frame mated to an inverted T - solid and strong!

You should to put the water in AFTER you move it.

And why don't you have a goods lift?

Yup, it's DESK-V103E!  It's our heavy-duty two motor standing desk frame, and it is designed to have good stability.

You're new to LTT, right? They're located in a bunch of industrial units/warehouses and made a mezzanine in several to obtain more office space. So there's no need, let alone room for a lift/elevator. Besides, most LTT staff are young'uns (Zoomers/Millennials/whatever-they-call-themselves-now) so stairs, and carrying heavy stuff up 'n down on them, keeps them fit 😉  (although looking at a recent video featuring Jake as host, I wonder if he's having Anthony as his roll-model 😛 )

(mind, love Anthony btw, we share the same LTTSTORE.COM shirt size 😉 )

In Video #1, it was mentioned the outer dimensions of this thing would be 32" x 60" x 1U in height.  For curiosity, what was the final height you were able to achieve from top of glass to the underside of the desk?

Colin no longer works at LMG so he probably doesn't have the files but he did in I believe the comments to the very first video link to some of the CAD files used as references. But EK's stuff that they used is not available to the general public.
