With gpu prices so ridiculous rn, I rather not build a pc. Which of these is better or is there anything definitively better for my budget?

Ugh, curse this current market preventing people from building systems.

Honestly they're both not great. Proprietary hardware through and through. If you wanted to buy one and use it for a year til things stabilize, that'd be fine, but keep in mind you're essentially buying a 1660 Super for $800 with an expensive paperweight attached.

If I were in your shoes; and I actually just was in fact, I'd just build a quick system using similar components (use PartPicker to find the best deals) and aggressively hunt for a GTX 1060 6GB or even a 1070 for a decent price in the used market. They're out there, trust me.

I just didn't do the 1060 thing. I scored a 2080 Ti for a relatively decent price and walked away happy. But I got lucky this time.

The New Machine: Intel 10600K / MSI Z590-A Pro / XPG RGB DDR4-3600 2x8GB / Zotac RTX 2080 Ti / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair Carbide 175R / EVGA 650W

The Monster: Athlon XP 2800+ @ 2.3GHz, Asus A7N8X, 2x1GB DDR400, ATi X850 XT AGP, WD 80GB Caviar (PATA), No-Name 700W PSU, Deepcool Tesseract

The Overclocker: Core2Extreme QX9650 @4.5GHz, EVGA 790i FTW Digital, 4x2GB HyperX DDR3 1800, Kingston 240GB SSD, GTX 970, Custom loop cooling
