was not sure. seeing do to a funky software bug with folding... i had to fix on all 3 machines.

and some how i had 3 account with same user name....

also is there a reason I am unable to comment on the event blog posts? maybe just that I'm a relatively inactive forum member?

11M isn't too bad. Had to deal with a Video Scheduler Internal Error BSOD. Probably caused by a bad x16 pcie extension cable. Updated the drivers on my system anyhow. Downtime was just over 1 and half hours. I suspect the fault is still present, as my 2060 is only getting 2 PCIe lanes.

 

 

 

This is still an improvement, as yesterday, my 2080 Super was only getting 1 lane, despite been plugged into a 4 lane slot.

 

Another thing about my performance, I cannot explain as to why my 3080 is underperforming, substantially. It's getting all lanes.

You check to make sure it’s not over clocked? I made that mistake out of the gate.

Well, it's game over. One of my 2060's (The one only getting 2 PCIe lanes), decided to code 43 on me, then this happened.

 

 

 

The 3.3 volt line got burned. 

 

I'm in the middle of moving house, all my tools are already packed

I believe there is a forum wide rule of meeding so many posts before you can comment on blog posts. I'm not 100% sure on the number but I think it is like around 50-100 maybe

The Aforementioned system decided it was a good time to do windows updates and so I lost about 1/2 days worth of points, coupled with I paused folding for a bit of gaming. 5M PPD should be happening in the coming days, but not every day (as I still like to game!)

I still need to figure out where my points are going. I'm averaging estimated 5m PPD, but getting closer to 1.5m. 2070 and 1070 are plugged into the motherboard. Both getting x8 at 3.0 speeds, I've got 2 1080s in with risers. No matter which GPU it is, the bottom x16 slot isn't getting me any PPD or recognizing the GPU, but the top 4x slot is supposedly.

Is F@H recognizing the work? is the cards all listed in the ADV Controls? are you running overclocks? rule of thumb is most overclocks are too much for any vcard.

As far as I know, F@H is recognizing the work. I've had this issue with F@H since day 1. The cards aren't all listed, even in GPUz. I did just notice that one 1080 is at PCIE x1 3.0. Could I just be running out of PCIE lanes? I can't find a spot in my BIOS to set my board to x4 all the way down. 

 

Even better, I just took out a fan blade on my 1070. Time to shut down for a bit and move some stuff around.

well if GPUZ wont see it thats part of the issue.  it SHOULD work on x1 BUT i think there was major performance issues and X1 may not provide the power the card expects. @LazyDev would be a good person to ask.

I’m assuming these are in the Asus ASUS Rog Maximus Code XI.

 

Try changing the PCIe16_3 slot from “auto” to x4 in BIOS. It shares 2 lanes with SATA6G_56 so this will disable those two ports.

 

If that’s the case I’m surprised the 1080 in the top PCIe3 x1 slot is working.
