"Please update your AMD Radeon Driver" when trying to launch Battlefield 1.

Go to solution Solved by Skiiwee29,

I could be wrong, but this could be due to these drivers, 21.7.2, not being WHQL signed. I would go and download 21.6.1 which are WHQL signed.

Hi, I've installed Battlefield 1 today to try and play again, but every time I try to launch the game, I get this error.

I've tried DDU'ing the drivers, which did not have any effect on the problem.

This is my driver version

My PC Specs are:

Asus TUF RX5700xt

Game is installed on a sata ssd

Windows 11 preview (maybe this is the cause?)

Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks!

EDIT: Same problem with Battlefield V - Star wars Jedi fallen order launches fine.

!!! Important !!!

If you are having an APU and a GPU in your system (like me) and tried everything but nothing fixed the issue simple: Go to device manager --> display adapters and right click your APU, then Uninstall device.

Done.

Disabling your APU will not fix the issue, you have to uninstall it.
No driver reinstall is required. Uninstall and play.

You are welcome.
