First build, want to be future-proof

Budget (including currency): £1500-£1800 (preferably £1500 though :/)

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Software development, photoshop and premiere and games like Cyberpunk and RTX Minecraft at constant 60FPS

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/7nqBCz, no peripherals needed, I'm upgrading from a Lenovo i3 4gb laptop, will buy parts after the shortage is over but have already bought the case and would like 2-3 1920@60hz monitors. Help would be very appreciated!

For that kind of money you better just spend it on a laptop with 3050 to 3080 gpu.

You will only get a mediocre specs on a desktop.

Ryzen 3600 @ 4.5ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | Radeon RX580 | 2x Samsung 16gb c-die 2666 @ 3600mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 9 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

No such thing as future proof. If you go all out then you might get a couple more years out of it but you would save more by going with something that works well today and then selling it when its time to upgrade in a few years and using the money in your next build.

He could do a killer desktop with that budget. Typically a laptop costs more for the same specs.

A pre built might be better then spending a grand on a 3070 though

You better go with and Ryzen 7 (12 core is overkill for gaming), an NVMe Gen4 SSD and a 3080 FE if you can find one

Do you think a PC like that could run Cyberpunk at 60fps?

No idea, but for games in general it depends on the settings. You might be able to get very high fps if you drop the settings to minimum or you might be lucky to get 30 at max.

You probably could opt for 5800x, and air cooler like nh-u12s (redux) if you fine with air cooler, and change the ssd to sn550 or sn750 if budget allows

Maybe something like this?

Ditched the aio

Cheaper board

Upgraded cpu

Upgraded ssd

Seems like the build you are going for is an rgb highlights build not full on rainbow build, so kept the rgb ram as its actually decent in the uk for pricing, 5 heatpipe rgb cooler cause it was literally the cheapest 5 heatpipe cooler i could find, and a bionix rgb 120mm as the exhaust fan, the bionix is rather expensive but from what ive heard it performs pretty well

Cheaper board, it is oc capable but i suspect you arent ocing anyways so just enable pbo and thatll take care of auto ocing your cpu

Cheap cooler, same goes just like the board
