MSI GS66 Trackpad stopped working

Hello.

 

My trackpad on my 4 month old GS66 has suddenly stopped working. I checked the 12C HID device driver which appears to be code 10 and not functioning. I've attempted to restart, disable and reenable that driver, uninstall and reinstall the driver and update windows to no success. Anyone have any ideas? I thought it could have been something I downloaded but I'm not sure.

Try downloading a different driver version from MSI's website, should be under the 'drivers and support' category for that model of laptop.

Yea, I attempted that but the driver is still code 10.
