Asus gx701 and bottom lid, question

Hi, I am about to get an Asus GX701 refurbished from a shop and my concern is the bottom lid, it seems flimsy and I am not sure about the long term rigidity and sustainability of the lip. Anybody has had experience with this laptop and can tell me if this is not going to break after a year or so? or does it warp or is unstable?
