Fan Header "CPU_OPT" ignoring BIOS configuration after a few minutes

AxlRozz

Hi,

I've been having an issue with my AIO fans connected to the CPU_OPT header, whenever I'm doing a task that takes the CPU to 60ºC or above even for one second, the CPU_OPT fans start to ignore the fan curve I applied on the BIOS and start to run at 100% speed until the temp goes lower for a few seconds, I tried to test this by setting the curve as low as possible running only at 30% until the CPU hits 80ºC but again, my configuration gets ignored as soon as the CPU hits 60ºC.

I'm currently using 4 headers:

Pump: CPU_FAN

3 Radiator fans: CPU_OPT

3 Frontal fans: SYS_FAN2

1 Back fan: SYS_FAN1

Both the CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT are using the same speed/temp curve, but NZXT CAMS software does detect that only the fans speed up while the pump keeps the speed from the BIOS, other than that the rest of the fans follow the curve as intended.

This are my idle temps without my AC on:
