So recently I pulled my computer apart because the graphics card stopped working and I really don't know why (it was a 2070ti super from evga) so I pulled my computer completely apart and I want to know if I should upgrade some components so far the list is CPU: Ryzen 3 2200g. Ram: G-Skill trident Z pro rgb 16gb (2x8) PSU: Cooler master mwe 750w 230v. Case: Deep cool matrexx 50. MotherBoard: B450m steel legend. CPU cooling is just AMD stock. And no graphics card ATM. And 6 corsair 120mm rgb fans. (sorry if it's in the wrong order it's the order I remembered it in)

No need to upgrade if the system is meeting expectations. Replace the GPU and go from there.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Fedora 38 x86_64

Secondary: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, Fedora 38 x86_64

Server: AMD Athlon PRO 3125GE, 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 ECC, TrueNAS Core 13.0-U5.1

Home Laptop: Intel Core i5-L16G7, 8 GB 4267 MHz LPDDR4x, Windows 11 Home 22H2 x86_64

Work Laptop: Intel Core i7-10510U, NVIDIA Quadro P520, 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, Windows 10 Pro 22H2 x86_64

If you want to upgrade the CPU, the classic choice would be the Ryzen 5 3600, but its price is awful right now. It really shouldn't cost more than $200, but both Amazon and Newegg have it for over $260, which is unbelievably bad value.

Honestly, with current pricing, the Ryzen 7 3700X for $270 on Amazon looks like a solid deal. Even in the before times, that would've been a good price.

At $150 on Newegg, the Ryzen 3 3300X would also be a nice upgrade, although it should be $120.

The $180 Ryzen 5 2600 isn't awful, but should be priced more like $150.
