Headphones stopped working on usb row in motherboard

Tollayo

Hi,

I have an old pair of HiperX Cloud II with their USB dongle. Today they suddenly stopped working. After some troubleshooting, I found out that they are not working in any port on the first row of the motherboard, except for the one designated to the bios update VIA USB. If I plug them on the second row or in front ports, they are working just fine. Any other device is working correctly with those ports. I tried with a keyboard, mouse, external HD and a webcam.
I also tried to reinstall the drivers and updating the bios to the last version, but so far, they are still not working.
What could be the problem? I'm concerned there could be something wrong, and it would be better to get rid of the USB dongle.

My motherboard: ROG STRIX B550-E GAMING with bios version 2407

Thanks in advance!
