9E is a reserved code, it means nothing to you.

Clear cmos and try and post the system.

It's a blank slot in the bios for future codes. So classified as reserved.

That code is not an indication of problems, at least not directly.

Is there a TPM chip installed on the board? If not, you cannot activate TPM 2.0.

Take a look through the manual would be my first guess. Should be some useful information there for TPM.

Wherever you left it when you took the board out of the packaging?

If you lost it, you can find a PDF of it on Asus's web page for the B550-E.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Do you have secure boot enabled? Try to reset those keys

Is your BIOS set to legacy and UEFI or UEFI-only?
