Weird turning off and on for 1-2 seconds then shows DP 1

Title basically explains it, but. It only happens on the 10 bpc setting in nvcp when browsing on google. For example. When watching youtube. Sometimes after a while it just goes black for about 1-2 seconds then starts again and says DP 1 in the top left. Why does this happen? Does it have to do with the 1440p 240hz and 10 bpc compression going on with my 2070 or what? The monitor I use is the Samsung Odyssey G7.
