Upgraded CPU to No Avail..

Hiya guys, first post here as I'm desperate lol

So I decided to upgrade my Pentium G3258 to a I7-4770k.. issue is that once the new CPU is locked in and all seems well, the lights on fans turn on a second then off again and that's all the action I get.
Motherboard I'm working with is the Asus B85M-G.
Everything has said that they both should work straight out of the box... I've updated the bios,, reset the battery in the motherboard,, and nothing yet.

Ram supported by CPU is DDR3 and I am using DDR3 btw
