Wider or higher res display?

So i’m looking on buying a 144hz monitor and i’m on a budget so i was wondering should i use the money to get a higher res 1440p 144hz monitor but have it only be like 24” or should i get a 144hz monitor but have it be like 32” or are there any good budget options that have the best of both world’s?

If you're on a budget i'd rather go with a good 1080p 24" monitor rather than getting a very entry-level 1440p 27-32" monitor.

The AOC 24G2 is a great option that hovers around $180-$250.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
