Crashes since I put my 3080 in system. Need help!

I got my 3080 yesterday and it works fine for the most part. My system randomly crashes when I load into a game or play for a while. During Benchmarks and Stress Tests nothing happens. I suspect the PSU isn't enough even tho it should be, right ?

Specs:

- Ryzen 9 5900x 4.00 Ghz

- MSI RTX Suprim X 3080

- ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E Gaming

- G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200 Mhz

- MSI MAG CORELIQUID 360R

- WD BLUE NVME 500 Gb

- Samsung Evo 850 SSD 500 Gb

- Toshiba 3 TB HDD

- Corsair HX 750

- 2x 140 Fractal Design Fans (Came with Case)

- 1x 120 Fractal Design Fan (Came with Case)

- Fractal Design R6

I really hope someone can help me fix this.

Did you use ddu for clean driver installation?

I would also try 3x cables from psu as those splitters can be tricky.

And how old is that psu?

Yes I used DDU. I had a Palit 1060 in before that.

I am using 3 cables from the PSU.

About 2 years. Its fairly new.

Thanks for your comment mate 🙂

No, because the 1060 didnt nearly draw as much power. I really think its just bricking the trip protector of the psu.
