MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus, USB power when off?

Go to solution Solved by Vectorspace,

Turns out I was wrong. The specific port I was using didn't provide power while while PC was off, but the others do. I haven't confirmed exactly which yet, but at least the back panel 2.0 ports do

Just built a new PC with this motherboard. My previous PC, the USB ports provided power wven when the system was off, which was useful as I have a mousepad with a built in charger for my wireless mouse.

This board however, does not seem to do that. I have looked through the BIOS settings and the manual, and I can't find any obvious setting for it.

Anyone know if I am missing something?

Best you can do is what you've already done and go through the manual and BIOS. I'm going to do that now.

It very well might not be an option with that board.

So I looked through your manual and found something interesting.

So that doesn't really help you.. but I looked up MSI Dragon Center's manual...

Worth reading that WHOLE page, some important notes.
