PSU for the RX 6600 XT (TX650M?)

Hi. I was looking for a PSU for when I (hopefully soon ) get a RX 6600 XT. 

Would the Corsair TX 650M work well with the RX 6600 XT?

Are there other recommended PSUs that I should look at? Not trying to spend too much.

The TX-M over 550w would be great. But there may be better options.

Don't buy based on Amazon "reviews", they're not exactly insightful.

 

Have a look at the PSU tier list here on the forum, it's a good starting point to compare power supplies.

It is. I was more suggesting to avoid the CV if possible. And if a new PSU is needed in the future, hopefully 4.5 stars and up isn't the only criteria.

Got it. I shall keep this in mind for whenever I purchase something like this.

I also found out that the PSU (Corsair VS 450) I've been using my GTX 1060 6GB and Ryzen 5 1500X for years with is in Tier D ahah

Good to know! I think I shall go with the Corsair TX 650M or Corsair TX 750M in the end

Update: I actually managed to get a MSI RX 6600 XT Gaming X and it arrived today

I was pretty happy so I decided to do an update (but let me know if I shouldn't do that to older threads like this)

I don't have my PSU yet so I must patiently wait. 

I'm getting the Fractal Design Ion+ (either 560w or 660w), which is also nicely on the Tier List!
