One ear of headphones being quieter than the other

Hello,

I've got a new laptop and I've been using it for almost a week now and this problem occurred to me yesterday where one ear of my heaphones(tried others too) is quieter than the other. The headphones are wired and connected through 3.5mm audio jack. If you know any solution to my problem please help me. Also the OS is windows 10

Thanks!

You should be able to change the balance for that output by using the Windows 10 Settings -> Audio (under Hearing) -> Change other sound settings, like so:

Don't have my 3.5mm headphones connected atm, but it should work the same, just select the right playback device.

Make sure you test the headphones on something else to make sure it's not something like an ear infection or blockage. Sounds silly but people often notice this stuff first with headphones sounding unbalanced.
