My pc wont turn on but ram is lighting up.

Xman022

So a few months back my pc suddenly died, then when I tried to boot it up again, nothing. but soon after turning on my PSU (without touching the power button) my rgb ram lit up. I went to a PC repair company and they said dead mother board and cpu, so I saved up money to buy a new mother board and cpu, today I put it all together and same issue again. I got an identical mother board but diffrent cpu (that is still compatible with socket AM4). Help please? (I think it might be bad ram or PSU idk)

Do you still have the Ryzen 1600? If yes, try it with that one.

The r5 1600 is currently in the socket, if you mean try the ryzen 3 3100, I will.

Nothing on new or old motherboard with either r5 1600 or r3 3100.

ok but apparently they're clueless… its very rare a cpu dies and cpu + mobo even rarer… i dont understand  how they could tell u thats the issue without testing it lol.

Its probably your psu, not sure, but from the description… several boards / cpus, sounds like power delivery.

Are there any debugging leds on the board?
