Please help me with iCloud forgotten password!!!

Hello,

I have an old iPhone 6 that was given to my father by a relative. The problem is that the phone number that was used in the making of the iCloud account does not exist anymore. Since recently I really got into iPhones I asked him to try and unlock it so I can use it. But now we're having difficulties because we cannot reset the password through the email that our relatives have made the account with and it only seems to want the phone number. What can we do?

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunate, thank you nevertheless.

If you don't have the phone number associated with the AppleID anymore, change the phone number associated with the appleID-- then enter the new phone number above.

With a problem like this yes.

apple will not unlock iCloud locked phones iirc.

if it’s a hardware issue, if they won’t help you everyone else will

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

I hate to say it but I think your out of luck on that one.

My nephew had an iPod touch many years ago that he forgot the code to unlock it and the password for his account.

He talked to all kinds of support people back then and he never could get that thing open again.

It set in the family garage on a pile of junk for years. In perfect working order but he couldn't ever use it again.

It was a real bummer for him.

I can understand supports point of view on that stuff though.

I mean that is the whole point of security to keep people from taking your account.

I appreciate their diligence.🤠

It makes me love Apple products more.

🙂

works but you also need a mbp or desktop mac

could try support as well but I'm 100% sure they'll ask for any proof of purchase and probably the SIM card as well, which I'm guessing you don't have.

If you have a code like the IMEI you could try calling the operator and asking if they know what number was associated to that phone and if you can recover it because you idk lost your sim card or something, but you gotta sound convincing

It does not let me change the number, as it sends a code to that old number and there isn't an option to send it to gmail or whatever, since he gave us his e-mail that he supposedly used for his Apple ID (it is the one he made his ID with). And yeah I called Apple service and the bot asked for IMEI but since I didn't know it off the top I hung up
