Laptop for VMs, productivity ?

Hi guys, I am looking for an easy to carry laptop to host VMs on the go and still be able to use this pc in a work environment. I do really really enjoy 16:10 ones. I/O doesn't matter that much. The only thing that I would be keen to have is a type C charging port, would be even better on the both sides.

I've been taking a look at the XPS 15 9510  for a few days now and it seems perfect but it is fairly expensive.

I've been taking a look at the schenker vision 14 but it does only have 4 cores even in the i7 version, which is not enough for my usecase.

One more thing, I do not need a dedicated GPU because I do not intend to play at all on this laptop.

Thanks for your time, looking forward hearing your advices !

Henri, France

Are you running desktop environments in the VMs? I ask because a video card can be super useful to power through the performance overhead if you're using something like VMWare which gives direct GPU access.
