The m4000 would probably be the best bet if you want to do cad. It's much more powerful than the p1000 even if the p1000 is newer. Also the M4000 is sorta similar to the 970 but only with 2x the memory. That being said the 970 is generally faster even though they have a similar core setup likely due to higher clock speeds. For minecraft the m4000 should do just fine but for csgo I would imagine the 970 being better. As for cad the m4000 would likely be better with its higher memory capacity.

Keep in mind that the 970 and m4000 will have no trouble what so ever pushing csgo well above 140fps. So I would also go for the m4000

So the quadro m4000 is more with it for my use?

While true the 970 will no doubt run at higher fps than the m4000 and if that matters to them then it could sway the decision.

Any particular reason you need to know?  As just because a given GPU is compatible, doesn't necessarily mean its powerful enough to actually do anything useful with it.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

VideocardBenchmark.net Type the gpu and it will give you a number. Bigger=Better. This will help you understand the basic difference between cards performance. A GTX 550 ti scores 1551, a Quadro P1000 scores 4467, a Quadro M4000 scores 6596, and a GTX 970 scores 9736. The website also lists DirectX Version Support, VRAM, TDP, and some other handy facts.
