I can't download rigs of rods

I have tried to install rigs of rods on my pc but when I start up the game it comes up with this error

Never heard of this game (?) in my life.

 

It appears they have their own forum. Why don't you ask for help there?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Error just says theres a "config" file missing under <game installation directory>/config/Controller_Xbox_For_Windows.txt

Just create a blank text file that with that name and maybe it will let you past that error and hopefully not another error..

Sounds like a corrupt installation. Is this game from a game store like Steam, Epic, Origin, etc?

Rigs of Rods is a pioneer of soft body physics. I've been involved with it since 2008 I think. Gabester one of the main devs left and made Beam.NG as RoR was free and open source so they needed a cash source.

Since you nevertheless don't seem to have any advice to offer OP on how to solve his problem, my opinion is still that he's better off asking for help from a dedicated community.

 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
