I would love to have a GBA SP turned into an Android smartphone.

TheHooligan95

a low res touch screen, sensors and cameras embedded in the thick bezels, included buttons for emulation, and probably terrible battery life. There is plenty of space inside the GBA but the thick plastics probably make it impossible to work with.

Like, I know it's an impossible project. But damn, wouldn't it look cool? Like a Samsung Z Flip but better. Oh, and the battery and the simslot/sd card slot are put in the cartridge slots, and are removable. I'm salivating just thinking about it.

I will make it someday. That would be so cool.

you could stuck raspberry pi inside it and install LineageOS based ports it won't have simcard but maybe its something you could add https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=186248

Also nothing stopping you from adding a different board in it as long as it fits and has the required ports.
