How Do I Migrate Everything but the OS?

Hi All,

Sorry if someone has asked this but I couln't find an easy answer so I was wondering if someone could tell me if there is a free way to move all files (i.e. program installs, photos, docs, ect.) to a new HDD from my SSD.

So just to clarify I have win10 installed on my SSD already along with all my other files and want to keep win on the SSD but then move everything else to the HDD.

Does that  actually work? Even for installed programs?

Edit: I tried and it came up with Error 0x80070057

No, you should reinstall all your programs.

 

Programs can only be moved if you clone the entire OS, which is a bad thing to do because it often screws up windows.
