Right, how do I get users from another computer to show up?

Unless you are on a domain, you don't. You need to add user accounts on the pc that is working as the file server, and then login with those accounts.

I am trying to limit access to this share drive to only a selected few computers. The other PCs does not show up in Locations for me to select, how will I be able to whitelist PCs?

All the computers are in default WORKGROUP, and all PCs have their network set to private.

You normally don't limit access by computer, you limit it by user, and only give users permissions that should be able to access the files.

I see. So instead of log in with main user credential for every individual user, I create a new user credential for each individual.

Thank you.
