Receiver Recommendations for whole home speakers

Bought a new house that has Bose speakers built in the ceiling in several rooms. I've never owned a receiver before and have no idea what to look for in one. Any ideas what I need to be looking for to hook up my tv and speakers all over the house?

you will need a multi zone avr.
depending on how many rooms you need to send to will depend on cost....avrs with 2 zones are under a 1000, but 3 or more zones will be over a 1000 easy
