i cant say anything bad about linustechtips video and graphics,but sometimes audio quality is below any reasonable quailty.can linus invest some money and built some proper proffesional audio computers for his videos???

Do you have an example video? I haven't seen a video that I would classify as "horrible audio/video quality". Are you sure it's not just YouTube on your end setting things to 144p or something?

Audio can sometimes be too problematic to get perfect also I have seen no issues with the videos, Could it maybe be your YouTube using a lower quality

I have never had issues with video/audio quality while watching his videos.

 

Even ones from 5, 6, 7 years ago look good enough on my 24" 1080p monitor.

And which video has bad Audio, old one?

The only "new" bad audio, vids that i can think of is when alex unboxed gigabyte egpu on short circuit channel...

Depends on the video. LMG recently finished a huge remodel of their offices, with entirely new sets. For a little while, they were having issues with audio quality, while they sorted out the bugs. Everything should be resolved by now, and I haven't noticed any issues in recent videos.

I never notice any issues with audio, just some weird color grading choices.

Hard to say without examples. I don't watch a ton of Youtube, but LTT is definitely in the upper tier of audio for things I regularly watch.

Providing examples would also help isolate whether they are due to specific setups such as streams, on-location issues, etc... that may contribute to what you deem as bad quality.

Please link a video that shows this for an example, because I can't name a single LTT video from like the last 5 years that isn't like a vlog (Scrapyard Wars, home projects, ect) that has had "horrible" audio or video quality.

In what way? this is not music editing.

They don't have the budget to master audio like movies.

iircc they use sound recorders hooked to shotgun mics than in post they use that audio as a master track to sync the videos.

what speakers or headphones do you have? what monitor and pc do you have?

 

i have a good pc and i dont have any video or audio issues, so its probably your end

I'm sorry what?! Have you lost your mind, are you using a shitty display, are you watching the older videos(cuz those were basically the best resolution and audio quality that youtube supported at the time)?

Pretty fair point on the audio quality relative to high production ones.


BUT I think the WAN show at this point is very much "we are lucky linus enjoys and finds time for" situation so I don't think we'll see any type of professional production quality to it. It's very niche and only the very dedicated fans really consistently tune in for it. Don't get me wrong I love that I can get some pure Linus and Luke every week but Linus could very easily drop it and loose very little so any effort he finds is spare to do it is kinda lucky considering how bonkers running LMG and his homelife must be.

 

however that just my intuition so I could be wrong on that

I never got the impression their audio was bad in any of the videos they shoot on set... sometimes audio will be less than stellar when they go somewhere or are doing something live but that's normal.
